Giving you control of your website

WebControl is Mole's own content management system. In a nutshell, it's a system which allows you to update your website yourself, without the need for any specialist knowledge - all you need is an internet connection.

WebControl allows you to:

Add, edit and delete text
Format text, just as you would with a word processing package
Upload and include images
Upload and include documents such as PDFs
Easily create links both within your website and to external sites (and of course to email addresses)
Add and delete pages, including auto-creation of the new navigation needed

WebControl sits together with any back office systems to create a single point of access for updating and managing your website. We can create different permission levels for different users, allowing you to give update access to specific parts of the site.

Although you will be able to update your website yourself, Mole still provides support and assistance as needed, and will be there to make sure that your website runs smoothly.

Case Study: Royal Microscopical Society

The RMS uses WebControl to update and manage its website on a day to day basis. The website is very regularly updated, including adding new events, and the ability to create customised booking forms for each of these.
