Video Production Case Studies

The Lymphoedema Support Network (LSN) is the leading provider of educational material and support for patients with Lymphoedema. From its inception in 1991 the charity has become the largest information resource for lymphoedema including factsheets, support telephone lines, newsletters, and a website. Mole filmed a self-help video for the LSN, which has proved to be a useful resource and a valuable educational aid, not only for the patients but for healthcare professionals as well.

The Tissue Viability Society is one of the world's oldest societies focused solely on Tissue Viability. The society formed in 1981 and gained charity status by 1996. They aim to distribute information, support research and raise awareness on wound prevention and management. Mole filmed a two day medical conference for the Tissue Viability Society, which was then edited and synchronised with the original speakers' powerpoints in a custom video player, which is to be released online, over the next year.

Mole has worked with this major medical consultancy for the past 5 years. During this time was have filmed conferences, seminars and roadshows, and worked on a range of educational tools for nurses. Our most recent project was a series of interactive CDs designed to introduce registered nurses and care assistants to key skin care concepts.

Mole worked with surgeons at St Barts to create training videos looking at specialist urological techniques. This involved filming a range of operations from within the operating theatre. Our crews are experienced at filming in this setting and understand the importance of being careful, discreet and following instructions from theatre staff.
