iPhone and iPad app launched for Marlborough

Mole are celebrating the launch of an iPhone and iPad app for Marlborough News Online - Marlborough's premier news website. Available to download FREE from the App Store, the new app is the perfect way for local residents and business to keep up to date with the latest news and features.

This is the latest in a series of apps being developed by Mole: the Woundcare Training app was originally realeased in the App Store in September 2011 and two more apps are under development, including a set of video tutorials to help those seeking employment.

Marlborough News Online

Marlborough News Online was launched, in conjunction with Mole Productions, with the aim of providing the news that people need to know in their daily lives - and to provide a distinctive voice for Marlborough as, like other market towns, it suffers from the effects of economic recession.

Its purpose, in the wake of cutbacks that have hit the existing local media and local government, is positive, the objective to offer some "glue" to bind the town, its citizens, organisations and business enterprises together.

We see it as a formidable force for good, supplying a constant supply of news, features, information - and fund-raising issues and supporting initiatives to boost the community and local economy.
