Case Study: Kingsdown School |
Kingsdown School, a comprehensive in Swindon, wanted to create a video that would act as the school's prospectus. Using footage of current staff and pupils, the school was brought to life delivering much more than a traditional prospectus could. As part of the project we also worked closely with the staff and pupils to explain the process of creating a video which involved them at all stages. The video was then duplicated and handed out alongside the paper prospectus.

Features:
- The interviews with staff and pupils gives the DVD a more personal feel, encouraging prospective students
- Detailed storyboard written to ensure clarity of message

The ESRC was looking for a video to explain to a wide audience why social science research is relevant and important to all our lives. After extensive consultation, a number of case studies were selected which illustrated how ESRC-sponsored research has made a real impact in different fields. Case studies involved interviews with those who had benefited from the research, and included the Institute for Fiscal Studies, a Corus steel factory, the Metropolitan Police and flexible working.

Case Study: Major government department (Whitehall) |
Mole worked with this major government department to create a health and safety induction video for one of its important and confidential London facilities. Our task was to create a video which would explain all the health and safety procedures within the facility, as well as clearly identifying exit routes under different situations. Exit routes can be difficult to find and for this reason we used animated 3D graphics of the facility to explain clearly the escape plans. The video is clear, informative and has been very well received.

- Uses 3D animated graphics to explain escape routes
- Covers fire procedures, electrical safety, confidentiality, and evacuation routes
- High level of security and confidentiality required from all members of the team
