Video Production Case Studies

Our remit was to create a video which would explain and introduce power generation to an audience of children aged from 8 - 15. The video is used at power stations before the children take a tour around the plant. It looks at the importance of electricity to our everyday lives, and then looks back over the history of its discovery and development. The video then takes the viewers on a tour around a modern day power station, using animated 3D graphics to explain exactly how the process works. It finishes up with a health and safety brief prior to the site visit. The video has been extremely well received by by pupils and teachers.

Mole worked with this major government department to create a health and safety induction video for one of its important and confidential London facilities. Our task was to create a video which would explain all the health and safety procedures within the facility, as well as clearly identifying exit routes under different situations. Exit routes can be difficult to find and for this reason we used animated 3D graphics of the facility to explain clearly the escape plans. The video is clear, informative and has been very well received.

Unger produce a state of the art system for cleaning windows, which is used by top professionals. Mole worked with Unger to create a video which would act as both promotion of the system and training in its use. The video was carefully scripted and then shot at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. Every detail of use of the pole and pure eater system is covered in detail, and the video provides a step by step guide to good practice. It also uses 3D animated graphics to bring to life the theory behind pure water and its use in window cleaning.
